Terms

• ashbox is free and provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be available, or that a link will be delivered or opened before it expires.
• You're responsible for what you send. Don't use ashbox for anything unlawful, including malware, fraud, harassment or content that exploits children.
• We can't read what you send, but we may delete stored secrets, block access, or change or discontinue the service at any time.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of ashbox.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in them limits any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Privacy

• We store the encrypted form of your secret until it is read or expires. The key is in the part of the link after the #, which your browser never sends to us, so we can't decrypt it.
• Your IP address is used to rate-limit requests. It is stored only as a hash and deleted within 24 hours.
• Your theme and language are saved in your browser's local storage. There are no cookies, analytics, ads or accounts, and we don't sell or share your data.
• ashbox runs on Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf and may do so outside Canada. Cloudflare's privacy policy

When reporting a link, send only the part before the # - it's enough for us to delete the secret without reading it.
